If you don’t
see the FordPass icon on your SYNC 3 screen during the connection process:
• Touch the Connect Mobile Apps button to search for the FordPass app.
• If you are not prompted to enable Mobile Apps, you can go to the Settings menu, touch Mobile Apps, then you will be prompted to enable Mobile Apps. Select Yes.
• If your vehicle has Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™ enabled, you will need to disable this in order to see the Connect Apps icon on your SYNC 3 screen before being able to select the FordPass app.
Aftermarket On-board diagnostic devices (OBD) may interfere with various vehicle systems. To avoid interference, remove the device or contact the device maker for more information on compatibility.
