Why can't I reply to texts using voice commands?

You can reply to text messages when your vehicle is parked with any one of the 15 preset text messages provided by SYNC^®.²⁷

Using preset messages helps to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

Here’s how to reply to text messages when your vehicle is parked using radio controls and the preset text messages:²⁷

1. When your vehicle is parked, press OK to reply after SYNC reads a text message.


2. SYNC displays a list of 15 preset messages on the radio screen.


3. Press the Arrow buttons to scroll through the list of preset messages.


4. When the message you wish to send appears on the screen, press OK.
