What can FordPass do for the new 2021 F-150?
With FordPass, your new 2021 F-150 offers even more. You can control and interact with many impressive new features available, like Zone Lighting, Pro Power Onboard and many new towing features, too. Find them all under the vehicle tab in the FordPass App.
*Class is Full-Size Pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR. **Number of lighting zones depends on vehicle configuration.
Pro Power Onboard
Power your tools and toys with available onboard high-voltage AC outlets located in the cab and bed. Use the FordPass App to track and control energy consumption† and power modes, which can supply 400W in-vehicle and up to 7.2 kW to the bed, for all your mobile workstation needs.††
†Must be within 36 feet of vehicle to control energy usage. ††Generator power output depends on vehicle configuration. See owner's manual for important operating instructions.
Trailer Light Check
Making sure all your lights are working is an important part of proper trailering. This feature can help in just a tap, running a test pattern for your truck and trailer lights. Your turn signals, brake lights and reverse lights will turn on in sequence, repeating five times to help ensure there’s enough time to confirm things are working as they should before you hit the road.
The FordPass App gives you a pre-trip checklist based on your trailer type to help ensure you hit the road safely. There are step-by-step instructions for conventional, gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers to alleviate concerns about your trailer being securely attached to your truck.
Have a moonroof or 17-inch alloy wheels that may affect your towing capacity? No worries — we'll take all that and more into account so you can haul with confidence.
Trailer Theft Alert
This available feature guards your trailer while your truck is parked. FordPass can send a real-time alert to your app if the wiring harness is disconnected while the alarm is active.
